Rome 2005
In May 2005 Anne and Paul went back to Rome for 4 days. We stayed at the 4* Jolly Hotel on the edge of the Villa Borghese. We had a terrific room with our own terrace overlooking the Villa Borghese. This was so nice we had dinner delivered to our room for two nights and ate out on the terrace in the warm Rome evenings. Paul had to do some work for part of the time - having meetings at Rome university. Anne went shopping and toured some of the sights, seeing both the President and prime minister in Piazza Popolo. We stayed on for the weekend after Paul had finished work and did some more sight-seeing, eating and drinking !!
